One of the quickest ways to lose in any game or arena that requires you to show your skill set is to pay MORE attention to those who came with the intent to see your downfall. When we engage in their discouraging energy, we make a mountain of it and it becomes our reality, though it’s untrue.

Opposing teams “boo” when you score. Catch the irony there.

They also behave in ways that are intended to distract you and your focus. Pay this no mind.

Instead, today, I want to remind you to FOCUS on the crowd who has shown up because they believe in you and they wholeheartedly and sincerely want to see you win. A win for you, is a win for them. [This is at the heart of your supporter, make note of that.]

It shouldn’t be hard to focus on this group (your supporters) and to give them their due dominance in your mental space when on the field. However, contrary to popular belief, it is this very group that we tend to ignore the most. Rarely do we leave games or opportunities and talk about how our supporters showed up for us. We are often replaying comments made, reactions, etc by those on the opposing team. Thus, giving more energy to those who came and succeeded in zapping your energy.

The difference between a loss and a lesson is ALL about where you’re head is before the game, during the game and after the game. If you train for your purpose/passion and show up only focusing on your supporters, regardless of the outcome, you’ve won.

Send the naysayers home, disappointed because you’re not paying them ANY mind, literally.

XOxo,

AE
